The Shahs are Back in Town!

Mr. Happy’s parents arrived back in KL after a relaxing breather in Bangkok and Koh Samui and were ready to hit the ground running. With only a few days left in Malaysia, we shifted the sightseeing into overdrive!
The first stop was the Twin Tower tour!
Mr. Happy hoofed it over there around 7:30 in the morning and picked up tickets, allowing the rest of us to have a lazy lay in.

We watched an introductory 3-D movie.

Crammed into a crowded elevator.

And got out on the 41st floor Skybridge. It was a hazy day, but the views amazed.

We had a quick look around the Petronas Twin Tower Museum.

It was hot, but we snapped a few photos outside in KLCC park.

The FIL risks life and limb to get the shot. Anyone hiring at National Geographic?

We also hit up the Orchid Garden in the Lake Gardens.

The sell orchids to take home.

MIL law treated me to some beautiful new orchids for our apartment.

Then it was time for lunch! We ate at the hornbill café.

And guess what we saw…

Hornbills!

But these little violet colored children found the biggest hornbill.

We finished off our day with an Italian dinner and then it was home for the inlaws to finish packing for their trip back to London.

A good time was had by all!!

I enjoy your updates... and those hornbills looked delicious! Mr. Happy's parents seem like really nice people.
