A Wedding in London

I’m visiting London because my friend Picture Perfect is getting married! Unfortunately, her big day is Saturday and I’ll be in Norway attending another wedding. But fortunately she is having an Indian wedding which means there are a number of pre-wedding festivities that I can attend!

Today, Picture Perfect’s family welcomed all the out of town guests with a gi-normous lunch. The guest list includes me! It also includes the family of her fiancé, the Mexican, as well. They’ve all traveled to London from Mexico City.


We dined at Lemonia, a posh Greek restaurant in Primrose Hill.

Reportedly, Jude Law is a regular. He was not in attendence on this day.

Lemonia was a beautiful setting and the food was DELICIOUS. The lunch lasted five hours and was a feast! Course, after course, after course...!

The next day was Picture Perfect's mehndi at Café des Indes.

A mehndi is a huge celebration for the bride when she is decorated with intricate henna tattoos on her hands and feet. Everyone gets to take part.

The party was so much fun. Once again, we stuffed ourselves with delicious food.

Then everyone took to the dance floor!

The Mexican’s nieces even preformed a special dance number!

It was great to see some old friends again.
I just wish Mr. Happy could have been there. He had to stay in Malaysia to speak at a conference.
We will be reunited soon in Norway!
