Mr. Happy and took the train down to meet his business school mate who used to be our neighbor in KL.
Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays the town is buzzing due to the markets.
We were surprised at how small the market was. I think we must be getting used to the massive Asian markets. We purchased some mouth watering nectarines. We really miss these (along with peaches) in KL!
We had lunch on Cicerello’s Landing at a famous fish and chip joint.
Then it was on to the wildly popular microbrewery Little Creatures.
We sampled the pale ale, amber ale, and cider.
They all had a nice flavor. High marks to the cider which was a lot lighter than ciders I'm more familiar with.
The temperature reached 41 C (105 F! ). Drinks relaxing by the water was the perfect way to beat the heat.
